It was my birthday yesterday,haha, not going to tell u how old i am now,but thats shold be a big turning point in my life.
Since i was having my exams the whole day yesterday,so i was totally exhausted after school,couldn't even remember that was my birthday.I got a e-mail from my mum which remind me....hehe... luckily,the house mistress still remembered,that is why i got a small chocolate birthday cake... :)
Everyone was busy preparing for their exams,and i had another exam the next day which is today...just went back from my exam, that went alright(i think). so i am here to share my birthday feeling with all of u lar!hehe
Got some presents from firends,some of them shown in the pic above,there is a pretty bracelet in Green(my favourite color.yay), Y shape necklace, cute cards and piggy, kun's CD from Chistmas....and errr.... nothing else special lar...
I don't wanna be old....5555.....i made my birthday wishes,one of them is for all of the Ikun ppl and one for Kun.....hope they will become true!
well, that was it!did nothing special apart from revision for my exams >_- still got 6 more coming, it gona be hard work!damn!I decided to treat myself with three nice movies, going to buy the tickets in a min...i may go to watch 2046,Closer(Julia Roberts and Jude Law.hehe) and Phantom of the Opera(recommended by Marilyn) hehe...not bad haha....i will enjoy them lar...
ok,i'd better to go to get the cinema tickets now...hope all of u guys are having fun!

Jess, how's the movie "the phantom of the opera"? I love Andrew Lloyd Webber's Broadway shows. I thoroughly loved this movie espeicially the "Masquerade" scene. I watched it twice in the theater.

Marilyn:"Phantom of the Opear" is such a great drama!!! the music is wonderful....and i rili like the actress..wot is her name..she was the one in "The day after tommorw"..wasn't she? she is just sooo pretty!!!let me know if u see the musicCD somewhere in the states..which means i may be able to get them here soon......

That actress of "the Phantom of the opera" is Emmy Rossum, was born in 1986. Emmy is a student at Columbia University and has already completed a course in art history. (ha, I am proud of her...) She really amazed me, with her wonderful voice and her excellent face expressions and gestures in that movie. Emmy received a Golden Globe nomination for her portrayal of Christine this year and I hope she will receive at least an Oscar nomination this year as well.
Yes, ineed, I bought "The Phantom of the Opera" 2004 Movie Soundtrack from iTunes in America. I am sure that you can find it from Britian.

Columbia University!? wot degree she is doing at the mo? that is amazing!! i was going to apply there...hehe...but now i got 6 offers from all my choices...so rili no point lar.. every thing alright with u? still sleeping the whole day..!? hope u r feeling better lar. i was talking to radiowomen last night,she hasn't got the greetings for Kun from us yet,but i think its on the its way! she has bought the card already,ohehe,must be so cute!! have u done urs?

school has just started!? hehe...u r not poor!much better than me,i have been in the exam hall for 3 weeks already...still got three more to take..damn!
Well,about my choice...its a rili hard decision to make.As they are all top unis in the world,i rili don't wanna turn any of them down..(but,i have to)
i have to choose 2 from 6 for my firm choices.unfortunately,I got to choose one from Cambridge and LSE,since they are both asking for AAA for my final exam...it's no point to keep both,coz if i don't meet one of them i won't meet the other one either....u see wot i mean?
Personally, i prefer LSE rather than Cam,since the subject i have been offered a place is the most competitive major at the moment,there is only 8% chance to get an offer to read Actuarial Science in LSE, and LSE is one of the leading uni in Economics Area in the world...i was so lucky to be picked up...so i rili can't turn it down....never ever...
However,ppl were saying Cambridge would be better,since its huge international reputation.well,to me LSE has a great reputation as well,its specailised for Economics and Financial field, and also they operate an international programme with Columbia and other top unis all over the world. hopefully i can go to USA to do my Master after LSE....
well,there is another big problem...LSE is known as the most snobby uni in UK also being the most expensive one...i haven't noticed this be4,since i was so desperate to get in, wotever it will cost me! but now,i realised how expensive it is(even more expensive than Cambridge) which make me decide to think about Cambridge twice carefully ...the living cost in london is just skyhigh....and they rarely offer any financial support to oversea students,damn!that's why i was hoping that i could go to America to do my undergraduate degree with scholarship or stuff..(too late to say that lar :( )
wot do u think?any thoughts?

If I were you, I probably would choose LSE as well. A high major rank is much important than the University reputation.
