--------------------------------------------OOf course not. Sometimes I probably need to type Chinese words in to express better, why not?:D

Hi Apple,
It was very thoughtful to type bigger letters in, which size did you choose?

How nice to see people come from the same country, haha. I've never been Lindfield, but it's acctually not far from my house. I always shopping at Chatswood, which is closer to Lindfield. I just love Chatswood shopping environment. It's not as busy as City, but with huge Westfield, Hoyts, fashion shops and plenty of parking spots.
I take trains rarely, as we don't have train lines in Neutral Bay, we take buses if go to City.
Yeap, Harbour Bridge is fascinating, sometimes I go to Milson's Point to play in the Luna Park and view the scene of Harbour Bridge, the sea and the Opera House. Milson's Point is quite close to me, only takes 5 mins to drive to there, and the landscape is so pretty.
Is Lindfield close to Kuring-gai National Park? I've been there twice.:) :handshake

Re: Jade

Hi Ziggi,
No, I didn't c any wild whale or dolphin, actually I took the ferry quite late, in the evening after I took off from work ..But I'm glad at least I got a chance 2 walk around the Darling Habour...So, when did u moved 2 AU? Do u like it there better than China? Most of my friends r from Beijing, ShangHai, ZhongShan n HongKong. Oh man I really wish I can work in Beijing sometime..u know I just feel sad, as a Chinese I really want 2 visit the mainland China..
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Jade,

I've been living in Sydney for 5 years, but go back to China once a year in my holidays for about 4 weeks. I couldn't stay too long as I normally apply for 35 days visiting visa from Chinese Embassy. It's hard to compare the 2 countries. When I'm in AU, I miss China, but when I'm in China, I miss AU. Most of my friends and colleagues are non-Chinese background, most of them are Aussies, they are nice people. Even though I would like to have more Chinese friends as well, but probably because I'm living in the suburb which has more local people, so it makes hard to find Chinese people to be friends.
Sorry, could I ask a private question? If you worked in somewhere else outside of your country (the country that you've got citizen from), how did you apply for a long period visa from Chinese Embassy? Is it easy to get? What's the longest period for you to stay?
Thanks very much in advance.:) :pj_040

[]Hi Ziggi, i think i cannot change the fonts if i "reply" for a specific post like now (i am replying to your no. 59 post).   however, if i just do a normal reply post, i can change the fonts.  i don't know why it does that way.

you nearly brought me back to the harbour bridge and chatwsood.  yes, chatwood is very near lindfield and that's why we go to chatwood for yum cha every saturday.

p.s. i can change the fonts by applying the editing function after posting the original reply

Do you guys like the future US president Barack Obama? Let's know more about him! :)

Biography for
Barack Obama
Date of Birth
4 August 1961, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA

Birth Name
Barack Hussein Obama Jr.

Nickname
Barry
Bama
Rock
The One

Height
6' 1½" (1.87 m)

Mini Biography
Barack Obama was born to a white American mother, Ann Dunham, and a black Kenyan father, Barack Obama, Sr., who were both young college students at the University of Hawaii. When his father left for Harvard, she and Barack stayed behind, and his father ultimately returned alone to Kenya, where he worked as a government economist. Barack's mother remarried an Indonesian oil manager and moved to Jakarta when Barack was six. He later recounted Indonesia as simultaneously lush and a harrowing exposure to tropical poverty. He returned to Hawaii, where he was brought up largely by his grandparents. The family lived in a small apartment - his grandfather was a furniture salesman and an unsuccessful insurance agent and his grandmother worked in a bank - but Barack managed to get into Punahou School, Hawaii's top prep academy. His father wrote to him regularly but, though he traveled around the world on official business for Kenya, he visited only once, when Barack was ten.

Obama attended Columbia University, but found New York's racial tension inescapable. He became a community organizer for a small Chicago church-based group for three years, helping poor South Side residents cope with a wave of plant closings. He then attended Harvard Law School, and in 1990 became the first African-American editor of the Harvard Law Review. He turned down a prestigious judicial clerkship, choosing instead to practice civil-rights law back in Chicago, representing victims of housing and employment discrimination and working on voting-rights legislation. He also began teaching at the University of Chicago Law School. Eventually he ran as a Democrat for the state senate seat from his district, which included both Hyde Park and some of the poorest ghettos on the South Side, and won.

In 2004 Obama was elected to the U.S. Senate as a Democrat, representing Illinois, and gained national attention by giving a rousing and well-received keynote speech at the Democratic National Convention in Boston. In 2008 he ran for president as a democrat and won. He is set to become the 44th president of the Unites States and the first African-American ever elected to that position.

Barack's Biography

Barack Obama Bio
Current United States Senator (Illinois), Future President

Barack Obama has dedicated his life to public service as a community organizer, civil rights attorney, and leader in the Illinois state Senate. Obama now continues his fight for working families following his recent election to the United States Senate.

Obama became a senator on January 4, 2005. Senator Obama is focused on promoting economic growth and bringing good paying jobs to Illinois. Obama serves on the important Environment and Public Works Committee, which oversees legislation and funding for the environment and public works projects throughout the country, including the national transportation bill. He also serves on the Veterans' Affairs Committee where he is focused on investigating the disability pay discrepancies that have left thousands of Illinois veterans without the benefits they earned. Senator Obama will also serve on the Foreign Relations Committee.

During Barack Obama's seven years in the Illinois state Senate, Obama worked with both Democrats and Republicans to help working families get ahead by creating programs like the state Earned Income Tax Credit, which in three years provided over $100 million in tax cuts to families across the state. Obama also pushed through an expansion of early childhood education, and after a number of inmates on death row were found innocent, Senator Obama enlisted the support of law enforcement officials to draft legislation requiring the videotaping of interrogations and confessions in all capital cases.

Obama is especially proud of being a husband and father of two daughters, Malia, 7 and Sasha, 4. Obama and his wife, Michelle, married in 1992 and live on Chicago ’s South Side where they attend Trinity United Church of Christ.

Barack Obama was born on August 4th, 1961, in Hawaii to Barack Obama, Sr. and Ann Dunham. Obama graduated from Columbia University in 1983, and moved to Chicago in 1985 to work for a church-based group seeking to improve living conditions in poor neighborhoods plagued with crime and high unemployment. In 1991, Obama graduated from Harvard Law School where he was the first African American editor of the Harvard Law Review.
