we also went to watch a Cantonese movie, Playboy Cops.

看來除了香港市場及影評外，其他的評論都不錯:) ..我想在香港比較不喜歡這個電影名...如果只用"型警"兩個字可能較好..."花花"兩字就給人一種太俗氣的感覺..片名絕對吸引不到我，甚至有點排斥...:( ..

偶也觉得这个片名有点吃亏，容易给很多观众造成负面印象
但是如果看过电影，会觉得这其实是一个很温情轻松诙谐，让人会心一笑的片名

what would you do?

Went to watch a Hong Kong movie today called 'Playboy Cops' acted by Shawn Yue and very good-looking Chinese actor Aloys Chen. The story seems to be a detective story but it turns out to be a more touching story and teaches me lots more regarding love and life. It is not a very compact and fast-moving story like his previous 'Invisible Target' with Nicholas Tse and Jaycee Chan which leaves you no time to breathe. This story is fast too with some hints of humour injected at the right time and place but at the same time, it touches your heart especially the ending(where I couldn't hold my tears).

'Playboy Cops' is about Lincoln(Aloys Chen) looking for the murderer of his brother with the help of Michael(Shawn Yue). Lincoln and Michael are totally two worlds apart but they like the same girl and are filthy rich. Michael is more of a playboy and his motto is to solve cases no matter how much he has to spend. Meanwhile Lincoln, though filthy rich, is totally opposite. Along the way, both learn to respect each other and become best friends. But the storyline just doesn't let them go so easily. They learn how to give and take and that money can't buy love and all other touchy things that can easily make me cry. Lolz..

Michael died in the end and he did not even manage to fulfil the dinner date with his parents who he had not dined with for a long time. The movie makes me think a lot and want to call my parents to tell them I love them lots and also to tell my friends I love them too.. From now onwards, I will practise to say more 'thank you' even if it is just for the 10-minute a person spend to talk to me. I want to try to be grateful, to notice every little thing like Lincoln does in the movie (Lincoln is about to die due to a small piece of old bullet in his brain and he dares not fall asleep just in case he won't wake up).

While waiting for the movie, I came across a book by Richard and Kristine Carlson called 'An Hour to Live, and Hour to Love'. I just flipped through it and it is about a letter from Richard to Kristine on their 18th anniversary. I can't really be sure what the content is cos I didn't really read it. I think it was about what Richard would do if he had an hour to live and hour to love. Well, just with that sentence, I was left thinking about my life. What would I do?

Truthfully, all I have ever thought of is how to have fun and enjoy, even till the last minute of my life, I would want to enjoy every little thing in this world. Then after that movie, I thought of changing. I thought why don't I choose to say thanks and express my love to my loved ones on my last day in this world, like Morrie in 'Tuesdays with Morrie' so that I leave with no regrets. Hmm...

So what would you do in if you have an hour to live and hour to love?

We watched Playboy Cops and well I must say... its the best HK movie ive watched so far. hehe... cute looking guys... cool moves... funny scenes... yeah... its nice... the plot is not bad either. its a must watch. =) hey i dun usually praise HK movies. so if this one just got it then its a good one. Ordered a cup of large ice lemon tea worth RM3.30 but i only managed to finish half. next time i shall ask for a medium one xD.

we watched "PLAYBOY COPS" -

it is a very very worth-watching show !
no regrets at all (=
some scenes are gruesome , some parts are touching .
some sentences are meaningful , mostly all actions are damn cool !
all in all , thou the main lead died in the end , the whole storyline is there .
well , i'm stating our my likings (=
but different people has got different preferences !

Shawn Yue is "oh my handsome!" -
i think he looks like edison chen . hahaha ! maybe i'm blind? 0.o

btw, i screamed and grab calvin's hand so damn hard .
during the part the finger was chopped off . GOSH!!

It feels so great to meet my close friends from National Service. They are still so pretty, and of cos getting prettier. Ha ha. I was late for an hour that day. We were supposed to catch Jumper at 3.15pm but full house so we switched to Playboy Cops. It's a cantonese movie. I don't really like watching chinese movie in cinema, but yet it turned out to be really nice. I will rate it 4/5. A great movie. Touching, and yet scary. There were parts when we tried to close our eyes cos it's fucking ewww.. We went our separate ways after six.

A new month, a new run

Went for a movie yesterday nite
playboy cops i guess if im not mistaken *short-term memory =.=
anyway not really a good ending but it really question me a lot
why are we chasing the luxury life in this round round thingy?
why we wanted to stand on top of the priority?
why we need money instead of honey?
why we need brand instead of friend?

In fact, we came to this world without anything
and why we should have everything?
we can't bring it together with a 7 feet long rectangular box(coffin)
or maybe u can have a self made coffin for 8 feet or 9 feet long =.=
as for me, im still chasing my happiness
my studies
my family
my friends
and my better half

Today, as usual, half day of school
but we don't consider it as half day. It is just that we doesn't have class. So we say it is a half day. hehe.. ok then.. let me tell u more of what I did. After our lunch Snow, Charmaine, Crystal, Enya and myself went to Leisure to watch a movie. The movie that we had watch is called "Playboy cops". This show is very nice and interesting, but at the end, but it has a sad endings. The show makes all of the audience who is watching the show wants to cry. haha.. I did not, cos i try to tahan it. Don't want to make my tears out. hehe.. but my friend Snow, I saw her wiping her eyes. So that's mean she did cry. hehe.. anyway, this is a nice movie. It is worth to watch, but only 18 years old and above is allow to watch this show. So to bad, whoever is younger than 18 years old cannot watch. Let me tell you about the story:
"An extremely brutal armed robbery case has brought two very unusual young detectives together in Hong Kong. Both men have been known not to follow the usual rules of conduct in solving crimes. Lincoln, the younger brother of the deceased, an ex-policeman in China, has sworn to find the man who has murdered his brother. While he investigates the murder on his own in Hong Kong, he meets Michael, a CID officer on suspension. Michael has often been warned against insubordination and for pulling his own stunts to capture criminals on the run".
