what would you do?

Went to watch a Hong Kong movie today called 'Playboy Cops' acted by Shawn Yue and very good-looking Chinese actor Aloys Chen. The story seems to be a detective story but it turns out to be a more touching story and teaches me lots more regarding love and life. It is not a very compact and fast-moving story like his previous 'Invisible Target' with Nicholas Tse and Jaycee Chan which leaves you no time to breathe. This story is fast too with some hints of humour injected at the right time and place but at the same time, it touches your heart especially the ending(where I couldn't hold my tears).

'Playboy Cops' is about Lincoln(Aloys Chen) looking for the murderer of his brother with the help of Michael(Shawn Yue). Lincoln and Michael are totally two worlds apart but they like the same girl and are filthy rich. Michael is more of a playboy and his motto is to solve cases no matter how much he has to spend. Meanwhile Lincoln, though filthy rich, is totally opposite. Along the way, both learn to respect each other and become best friends. But the storyline just doesn't let them go so easily. They learn how to give and take and that money can't buy love and all other touchy things that can easily make me cry. Lolz..

Michael died in the end and he did not even manage to fulfil the dinner date with his parents who he had not dined with for a long time. The movie makes me think a lot and want to call my parents to tell them I love them lots and also to tell my friends I love them too.. From now onwards, I will practise to say more 'thank you' even if it is just for the 10-minute a person spend to talk to me. I want to try to be grateful, to notice every little thing like Lincoln does in the movie (Lincoln is about to die due to a small piece of old bullet in his brain and he dares not fall asleep just in case he won't wake up).

While waiting for the movie, I came across a book by Richard and Kristine Carlson called 'An Hour to Live, and Hour to Love'. I just flipped through it and it is about a letter from Richard to Kristine on their 18th anniversary. I can't really be sure what the content is cos I didn't really read it. I think it was about what Richard would do if he had an hour to live and hour to love. Well, just with that sentence, I was left thinking about my life. What would I do?

Truthfully, all I have ever thought of is how to have fun and enjoy, even till the last minute of my life, I would want to enjoy every little thing in this world. Then after that movie, I thought of changing. I thought why don't I choose to say thanks and express my love to my loved ones on my last day in this world, like Morrie in 'Tuesdays with Morrie' so that I leave with no regrets. Hmm...

So what would you do in if you have an hour to live and hour to love?

... After exam, went to Devi's Corner for lunch and then Sei Nee, Charmaine, Chloe and I went to 1u to watch movie.. At first, we wanna watch Step Up but the time is too late so we change to a chinese movie which is Playboy Cop... I love it so much.. The cars and the 2 main actors are kinda "YENG" in that movie... One of the main actor is Shawn Yue... But in the end of the movie, Shawn Yue DIE!!! When he die, 4 of us start cying cuz is reli reli sad... Haihz....

I spent my Friday night hanging with Debbi and Michelle in Leisure Mall (LM). We were originally going to watch a movie but LM decided to show nothing but Chinese movies. I don't mind watching Chinese movies but all the titles sound like it had half baked story lines. I'm sure you would like to watch "Playboy Cops" as much as me ... *rolls eyes*.

奥尔菲斯竖琴

这部电影有很多可爱的小细节,比很大只顾大场面的电影要好玩多了.不管别人怎么评价,花花已经是坤的作品中我最喜欢的NO.1了,期待下一部电影超越花花哟.

很多细节都很让人心动，还有镜头的运用和配乐都很完美:loveliness:

hmm later at about 7.30 i send my mum back home and rush to winmax to pick jc.. drove fast to cineplex the curve damansara.. luckily no heavy traffic.. and luckily i called edwin to buy ticket earlier.. watch Jumper..( God know what is that story about somehow is incomplete) then since we really want to enjoy.. oh forget to mention we ate at TGI Fridays..( all I can say workers there such a wack) then we head to 1 utama to watch playboy cops.. funny at 1st sad at last.. well at least better than jumper.. no clue or even real ending..

We went to pavilion and watch a movie. OMG! I really love the movie so much. After for so long, I feel this movie is so worth watching. And I don’t mind watching it a billion times.

Playboy Cops

Excellent movie. It is so funny yet so exciting. The storyline was perfect. Sad but a happy ending too. Oh yeah! Shawn & Aloys are sooooooo HOT! I cant help it. I really fall for him right now. During the show, I keep telling Ann how HOT is Aloys. It’s a recommendations from me. People out there, you should watched. If you don’t like it, then too bad. You really don’t know what is good show.

Hooray! I caught PLAYBOY COPS today at Yishun Gv. Seriously, the title doesn’t really fit the show because there’s nothing about playboys in that movie. 0% about playboys.

These are a few questions that were racing in mind after the show:

WHY DID HE HAVE TO DIE?

WHY DID HIS GIRL RATHER LIKE THE OTHER GUY?

but still..

WHY DID HE HAVE TO DIE?

WHY DID HE GO BANKRUPT?

and most importantly..

WHY DID HE HAVE TO DIE?!?
The show was okay and DUH, of course it is okay to me because I get to see my hot favorite in that show. Shawn plays Micheal who is damn rich but is a spendthrift who doesn’t really spend time with his Dad. Being rich, he uses his Dad’s money for everything including breaking cases and catching crooks. It isn’t a bad thing because he meant well and isn’t stingy at all! Everyone hates him due to his bad temper and extravagant spending. However, he is someone who has his own principles of life and sticks to it even when others disagrees with his particular philosophy.

He likes this girl and tries all means to please her but failed. Maybe the reason for him liking her is that she was the only one who liked him for him and not his “wallet”. However, this girl was in love with this guy for 3 years who pursuit her in the past but stopped due to some reason. The main reason was that he had a bullet in his head for sometime but survived for the last 3 years. He knew he wasn’t going to live that long so he decided to hide the truth and stopped chasing the girl that he liked. It was for her own good as he wanted her to move on. He didn’t want her to waste her youth for him.

There was this funny part when Shawn called his Dad on the cellphone. (The “chinese tea” guy [I forgot his name anyway] told Shawn to treasure what he haves now before it was too late. He was referring to Shawn’s family as Shawn wasn’t really close with his father and maybe the only closest bond with his father was the money.

So he called him Dad and there was this automated voice system that says:

想要找爸爸讲话， 请press*一。
想要拿钱， 请press*二。
想要 .. .. ..
*pardon me for not knowing how to write “press” in Chinese


haha. I liked the second sentence about the money. At that point of time, Shawn’s facial expression was really very serious and this just seemed out of place.
