转贴:开幕式收视率只有澳大利亚和新西兰两国未创新高
国际奥委会的数据显示,尽管有互联网的分流,北京奥运会的开幕式是世上最多人观看的仪式,有超过583M的观众。
之前的记录为悉尼奥运会的175M的观众人数,但是北京奥运会吸引的来自19个主要地区的观众人数超过悉尼233%,超过过希腊雅典330%,主要归功于中国庞大的观众数量。(估计今后也很难超过了,哈哈)
美国的收视率比悉尼上升25个百分点,而澳洲的收视率降低了25个百分点。澳大利亚和新西兰是仅有的收视率降低的国家。
我个人看法:澳大利亚媒体是对开幕式挑剔最多的。澳大利亚人就是这样,从来没把自己摆在正确的位置上,不但lazy,还鼠目寸光,只看到眼前那点东东,看不到全世界,说白了,小国心态。

THE Beijing Games have become one of the most watched in history, with global Opening Ceremony audiences topping 583 million. Olympic officials said the number of people watching in 19 key markets blew away figures from the 2000 Sydney Games, the previous benchmark with an audience of 175 million.
The IOC said the opening ceremony was up 233 per cent on Sydney and 330 per cent on Athens -- aided largely by a massive home-grown Chinese audience.
Almost one in three Chinese watched the ceremony for a total audience in China of 496 million.
Just 114 million Chinese tuned into the Sydney Games and only 36 million watched Athens opening ceremony.
The IOC figures revealed that Australia and New Zealand were the only countries to have a lower audience from the benchmark of Sydney's ceremony.
Australians showed comparatively little interest in the ceremony with local audiences down by 25 per cent.
Audiences in Italy jumped 219 per cent, Slovenia grew by 189 per cent and Spain by 178 per cent.
In the US the opening ceremony was 25 per cent up on the Sydney figures, with 34 million people tuning into the opening.
Broadcaster NBC, which paid $US894million ($1.038billion) for the rights to the Games, has seen strong audience gains, fuelled by swimmer Michael Phelps's record-breaking run of six gold medals so far.
More than 28 million Americans tuned into to see his first race and NBC executives are hanging on the possibility he could capture a seventh and eighth medal to take him past Mark Spitz' record.
The extraordinary lift in TV audiences around the world has also not been hampered by the growth in online coverage.
Many experts predicted that the streaming of events via the internet and on mobile phones could whiteant TV audiences, but broadcasters say it has actually helped grow the number of people tuning in to terrestrial TV.
In the US, NBC delivered 17.7 million video streams in the first four days and has also attracted several hundred thousand mobile customer viewing the Games through their phones.
Locally Seven's cumulative audience has topped 14.3 million over the first five days of the Games. Seven's online partner, Yahoo, has also reported a massive jump in interest in the streaming of events not currently on the terrestrial network.
Telstra's Big Pond, which secured the mobile rights to Seven's footage has been more problematic.
While Big Pond was stunned at the response to its packages, selling more than 50 per cent more than expected, it has come at a price. The success of the move by the Olympics into the mobile world has been hampered by demand, with many users complaining they have not been able to get the feed. |
